I’m a sucker for books, fuzzy socks, crystals, spices, and essential oils.
I sing, loud and proud, in the shower, car and the kitchen!
Every day, I laugh, eat veggies + greens, get in a walk, and aim for 8 glasses of water.
I have a secret stash of dark chocolate, love green tea, have been known to snag 20 minutes in the tub on a Friday night & leave laundry unfolded for a day or two.
My passion is helping people feel better.
I didn’t feel good…
Thyroid Cancer, Lyme, Epstein-Barr, Mycoplasma, Adrenal Fatigue, Auto-immune arthritis, Psoriasis — all before the age of 30 — Crazy shit! I mean, CRAZY SHIT! But I never had chicken pox and haven’t had a cold or flu in years!
I think I’m so passionate about being a holistic health practitioner because I’ve struggled a lot with my own health.
Do you struggle with your health?
Here’s the thing… our struggles shape us!
I think working with me is different because I know what it’s like to feel like shit.
I know the drill of bouncing from doctor to doctor, and I bet you do too.
I understand the frustration of trying x, y and z, of doing “everything right” only to have things spiral or, worse, not change at all.
I don’t just talk the talk…
I live this every day.
I’ve been to countless practitioners, tried a million supplements, changed my diet and my lifestyle AND yet I still have to keep on it, SHIFT, and adapt to keep my weight in check and curb chronic fatigue, anxiety, and pain. Just as our health shifts, so should our strategies. Gone are the days of rigid thinking where strict calorie counting and hours of cardio were the only way to get the healthy bod.
To get from your breaking point to your balance point is as much about being gentle with yourself as it is about action.
It’s about taking the right steps at the right time.

My job is to share my experience, resources, and knowledge so your journey is easier.

That kind of partnership has made a difference in my life. In some cases, it helped me step through fear; in others, it slowed my roll; all supporting my steps.
What’s your story?
My story is quirky and complicated… and maybe yours is too.
When all my friends were getting their drivers license, going on dates and worrying about zit cream, I got diagnosed with aggressive thyroid cancer, went in for lab work, ate through prescriptions, surgery, and radiation.
My weight ballooned, my mood was all over the place and I was likely the most awkward teen on the planet. Removing the tumor and my diseased thyroid wasn’t the end of it — there were 20 years more… before the auto-immune disaster, the adrenal crash, twisty arthritis — yadda, yadda, yadda. I mean, my story is crazy— but, I know I’m not the only one…
Whether your laundry list has the big C, adrenal, auto-immune disease, Lyme, Fibromyalgia… weight issues, hormone issues, mood imbalance, anxiety, insomnia, digestive crap, allergies —- whatever it is — there is a universal thread that links us all:
The body can only take so much for so long and once the balance point tips, strategies have to shift or our health will suffer.
Learning from my mistakes
I made the mistake of doing too much, too fast and I tanked into chronic fatigue and anemia.
- Shifting the strategy showed me that small steps often yield bigger, better, sustainable results.

- Shifting into a place of peeling back prescriptions and getting to know how my body responds to things showed me that the body wants to be balanced and that there are many paths to healing.
I made the mistake of making decisions out of fear. I mean, I full on panicked when my arthritis first flared. Panic, fear, and anxiety kill hope… and hope is one of the best healers I know.
- Shifting out of the fear gear and into a more neutral roll showed me that clear thinking and fear thinking yield totally different results.
I reached a point (and I’m guessing you have too) where I knew things had to change.
Have you reached your breaking point?
The reality of all the things I tried, doctors I saw, practitioners and therapies and supplements and diets…. the whole thing is exhausting and the TRUTH is even with all my intention and intervention, my health is still a challenge.
If you’re like me, you know there’s no magic solution.

I’m solid, boots on the ground, crawling through the trenches, MacGuyvering my way through the health maze.

I’m whole foods and attitude and gratitude all the way.

I’m not one thing — not vegan, paleo, keto — not just this or specifically that.

I’m a roll with it, feel it, find the flow person.

I’m not into the shame game, the blame game or pity parties.

I am growth, flexibility, gratitude, and grace.

I am all about doing whatever I need to do to get through the day (coffee and naps happen!)

I believe every breath is a blessing, opportunity, an invitation.

- a combination of nutrient-dense eating, exercise and stress management in partnership with traditional medicine (when necessary) can get you back on track.
